  The manager was excellent and did all she could to make our stay a pleasant one. For the price, the facilities were much better than expected. Our stay was relaxing. There is plenty to do around St Lucia with the various parks and wetlands. - Beautiful lodge and garden, with view over forest to sea and lagoon. Close to town facilities.   We really enjoyed our stay there. Our hosts where just great to talk to. Very friendly and knowlegeable on the area. He greated us with a refreshing drink and took the time to tell us about the area, the good restaurants and what to visit. He provided us with a local maps and great tips for local tours. The breakfas - This is a excellent property in every way. We stayed in a room with a private entrance and small terrace overlooking the garden. It was a treat to wake each morning to the sounds of birds in the trees and sun filtering through the window. The room was well appointed, extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated.   We had the most amazing idyllic view from our balcony. The inn has seen its better days but it's wonderful still, beautiful gardens not fenced or gated like most other hotels in South Africa. The room was white with cathedral ceilings and a four poster bed, as well as a n - Lovely rooms we stayed in the self-catering lodges. View beautiful. Good Beds. Liked the fact that we could self cater or go to restaurant for breakfast. Even though restaurant closed in May during low guests they did offer room service for dinners.

  I arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight an mess up with my car rental, but when I arrived Glynis was there with a big smile and my keys. Breakfast was a feast every morning & on my last day we went out deep sea fishing & left very early in the morning. I would recommend Igwalagwala Guest House to anyone looking for a clean, freindly place to stay, with Hosts - The genuine, warm friendliness of our welcome on arrival.   We stayed 8 people in the apartment with a huge terasse with a great view over the forrest and the sea in the background. Just beneath is the great and clean pool and a little garden. Bianca was very helpfull with information and loaning us maps for a safari trip to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Little Eden made it really easy to enjoy - their staff are friendly, always happy to help and willing to bend over backwards for you. The accomodation was lovely! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed a stunning view of the Estuary and Ocean every morning. One night, we even had a hippo wander into the garden - amazing to see - but a little scary at the same time.
