The staff were totally fabulous - friendly, helpful and always happy /willing to help. The food was of a very high standard especially Breakfast - one of the best we have ever had and we have travelled a lot. The visit to their own vineyard ( and other Restaurant) was excellent - highly recommended - low key and superb environment. -

The massive fireplace inside the living room just adds a lot to
atmosphere. We even had a braai (barbecue) sitting in the fireplace. The
hosts did everything to make our stay perfect (including braai lessons).
The whole decoration is self made with love for detail. Perfect place
for bird lovers.

Large, cool and comfortable rooms with spacious bathroom, separate toilet and a lovely patio shaded by vines overhead to relax & enjoy the view. Very friendly, accommodating staff and enjoyable meals. Many thanks to the gentleman that very kindly washed our well travelled car. Highly recommended!

Very nice and comfortable rooms.
Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings.
Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see.

What's not to like?
The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side.
Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm.
Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.
