  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   From the minute we arrived the service was impecable our car was parked no fuss, we were early for the book in but were offered a complimentary beverage whilst waiting and the pleasant surprise we were upgraded to a larger famiy room with the best mountain view ever the convenience of being connected to the shopping mall is also a plus the room ... hva folk sier » service was quick and the staff friendly the room amenities were great and the reataurants were out of this world....then breakfast came the buffet se - We were overnighting prior to a long flight the next day to Dubai/Kabul. This could not have been a nicer stay. Car parked, check in seamless, room very nice. Our view was an ocean view which was great. The convenience to the waterfront activities and shopping was excellent. Late night coffee and cake in front of the fireplace was superb. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best we have had, just fabulous. Staff were all on their game, excellent service.

  The Spa with its gym, suana and steam room that I could use without extra cost, the breakfast was excellent and the weather forecast with something sweat each evening was special. The spa treatments was well done and the spa has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The place is beautifully situated between the vineyards and I'm sure in summer it will b... hva folk sier » e an excellent venue for a special party or wedding - as you can make use of the large swimming pool and jacuzzi, with the snooker table and honesty b - We have really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The Bedroom and bathroom size, The Privacy. The View from our room. The Stellenbosch center is less than 15 min. driving from the Wedgeview House
