I did like the warming reception. Mrs. joy is so attentive and welcoming. Not much of questions, no money enquiries, just the basic and in 5 min we were at our room. The brackfast is wanderful and delicious. I will be back soon. Wanderful surrouding of sea view and what to say about the sunset view from your bed. Really 5 stars

The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.

I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

We could not fault anything. Great reception, lovely setting and room was tastefully decorated. Ursula and Campbell were the perfect hosts; nothing was too much trouble. We even had our car washed before we left. A big bonus was having a pair of Speckled Eagle Owls roosting in the tree just by us!
