I intentionally left all the scores at Excellent because that was exactly my experience of this place. I felt at home, yet private enough to go about as I wanted. The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. It's a bit pricey but

My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended.

The owners Rod and Magda are gracious and welcoming. The rooms and the grounds are well maintained and clean and nicely appointed.
The view is beautiful & everyone including Diesel the Lab makes you feel at home and comfortable.
If you have the opportunity enjoy the evening dinner the food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We stayed in one of the self-catering Bush Cabins and this was exactly what we wanted. Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

We enjoyed our stay @ isanga but I felt dissapointed that no effort was made after I Informed u well in advance that it was a special occasion for my husband + I. We celerbrated our 11 year anniversary as well as both my birthday + his @ ur hotel. The night cost us a small fortune as we spent the afternoon @ ur spa (which I was very upset about because we could hear guests talking outside as well as the fact that the spa is to bright for anyone to relax)

On arrival had a great welcome from Anya. Dinner as requested which was tasty chicken pie. Got to see some buffalo out in their reserve which was a nice surprise. Breakfast to die for kept us going for the day. Beautiful home and thanks for making us so welcome. Lovely bottle of bubbly in our room when we arrived again lovely touch. -
