  Michel and Ursula make a stay at Rouge on Rose feel like you've instantly found a new home and want to move in for a year, not just a few days. The hotel itself is quite stylish without feeling too forced edgy/modern, our room was spacious and like a small studio apt. (We fantasized it would be a perfect pied a terre in Cape Town, as we fell in lo... hva folk sier » ve with the region), the included breakfast is a fine dining experience (especially the amazing omelette souffle topped with bacon and eatent with a g - Great location, great staff. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

  This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect. The s... hva folk sier » taff were very helpful and friendly. - The hotel wa outsatnding value for money. The swimming pool must have the best veiw in town being on the 19th floor! The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.

  Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.
