  We only stayed for one night but the facilities, staff and cleanliness of the room were good. We had a lovely view of the beach and a comfortable stay. We caught the hotel shuttle to the airport and our driver was very friendly and the price was very reasonable. - The staff and facilities were excellent.   I intentionally left all the scores at Excellent because that was exactly my experience of this place. I felt at home, yet private enough to go about as I wanted.   We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.
