  Prior to arrival we feared to have booked a so-called "tourist trap", but all fears were blown away: Wow, what a fantastic experience to stay there! We got a sense of true African culture (history of different native tribes). Real nice cottages in tribal style, but with modern facilities (bath, electricity/TV etc.). Value for money; especially if ... hva folk sier » you have great appetite for the overwhelming dinner (not included in base price) and amazing breakfast. Absolutely recommendable! - The site is wonderful, the country look gave me and reminded me of my school days in KZN and Eastern Cape, but for my children it was so magical as they have never been to rural. The rooms and bedding excellent, the Zulu king was the cherry on top, warm welcome with a beautiful smile on arrival and during breakfast made us feel comfortable and welcome. the resort near Haartebees made easy for the family to visit there
