  Our hosts were excellent, they were always on hand to help and ensure that we had the best possible stay, not only in their b&b but in Cape Town as well. There is an excellent local - The Chocolate House is an old beauty with excellent hosts, Lee and Johan. They made our holiday super-special. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and hearty, the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and have personality, the breakfast was just delicious. It is a jump away from Devils Peak and it's located in a safe area, 5 min. to the city centre! We spent 11 fabulous days in the Chocolate House and we definitely will come back! And last not least there was Versace, who delighted my heart!

  Pat, Piet and Jenny were wonderful managers, so warm and welcoming. Jenny, in particular, went out of her way to help-. When I was unwell one day, she insisted on driving me to the Medi-clinic herself and coming back for me later. The full cooked breakfasts were large.   Almost everything was excellent. Catherine and Michael are running a great job there. They care with everything, prepare you homemade breakfasts, deal with you so much that yo feel like staying at a friend's house in Cape Town. Facilities were sufficient for a bed&breakfast. Location was in a quiet street, not a dangerous environment. Hosts Catherine, Craig and Michael, always efficient, kind and available, make a great team. It is fair to say that Michael's breakfasts were one the highlights of my stay in Cape Town.
