I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with,
after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to
arrange another room and get it ready for us. She was very polite and
professional, an asset to the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant
and helpful. -

Great location, great staff. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

i love the warmth of the owner and staffs, they care so much about what you need. the apartment is extremely clean and have complete facilities. can't get better location! this apartment is located in quiet nice place. it is not in the middle of central busy city but it takes you only few minutes to go to any best places in capetown. -

... hva folk sier » on of this guest house was perfect. We could get to anything--the mountains, shopping, the beach, and restaurants--in less than ten minutes. The staff was so nice to our whole family and very hospitable. We felt very comfortable staying here and would do so again in the future.

Very nice and quiet family run hotel, with an accomodating and friendly staff. Probably the best hotel breakfast I have had, ever (and I travel a lot in business). A quite and nice neigbourhood, but only a 10 min walk to the more busy and noisy centre of Cape Town. Allthough only 14 rooms, they even run their own transport service in the evening.

Spaciousness and layout of the room - Although the hotel was old (and currently being renovated) it was clean and comfortable, nothing particularly distressing. Breakfast was good, though it's debatable whether it's worth the R130 you can save if you choose not to have it.

This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.
