  This is an outstanding guesthouse! The best I've had to date in South Africa. The breakfast and dinners were first class. The owners and staff were most helpful in suggesting local tours.   The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the gardens absolutely lush. The fact that the driveways have not been paved keeps everything natural! Just a good old fashioned hotel devoid the indifference one finds in chain hotels and pretentious B&Bs.   The staff was very friendly and really did their best to make us feel welcome. This lodge is really good value for money and if you take the option with breakfast and dinner it is lovely not having to cook.   The hotel is set in lovely tropical gardens with two delightful pools. The suite we booked was spacious with large well furnished bedroom and sitting area. It also had the benefit of a huge private sun terrace overlooking the sabie road hills. If you book on a room only basis try Summerfields Kitchen (2km away towards Hazyview)for a del - It is such a lovely, peaceful, restful place. The hotel has a lovely Tuscan feel but each room has an African flavor and is very modern.
