  We booked one night here before a domestic flight and it turned out to be one of the nicest places we booked in South Africa. Every single interaction with the owners and personnel was warm and respectful. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend staying here after a flight or before a flight or even when visiting Jo'bur - Extremely welcoming and well organised. We had a late arrival and left very early. Pam organised a car to pick us at the airport and to bring us back there on the following day. The room was nice, very clean. Excellent way to spend the night when you have a connection at the OR Tambo airport. Far better than the hotels on the airport premises. Very friendly staff. We were pleased overall, thanks Pam.

  I was very well taken care of by the staff. I was in transit from Rwanda through Johannesburg to the USA. They picked me up from the airport, provided a room for the night and also gave me a day room. Meals were also available.   Wonderful guesthouse. Christina and Clive welcomed us as old friends. We were unable to locate our luggage and Clive came to our rescue; it was quite an adventure! She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

Even before I got there, the staff was amazing - very responsive to emails, both clearly instructing me what to do when I arrived for airport pickup and also assisting me with putting together a program of sightseeing during my 18 hours on the ground.
