Staff at the Sofitel Casablanca were friendly and helpful- nothing too much trouble. Their English was good, a boon for non French speakers.
Rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished, and the L'Occitane toiletries and exotic bathroom facilities added a touch of luxury. -

water,this hotel was not over looking the water,but close enough I can
walk to the beach,i enjoyed that,i never had a sound proof room,I never
even knew they existed until I read the reviews,I really like that,,the

Rachid the owner and the receptionists were all very nice. They gave us
directions and Rachid showed us to a good brunch spot, The Fence.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. I slept like a log.
The guards save the parking spots out front for guests, so I was able to park my car for free and it felt safe since the car was within eyesight of the guards.
I could see it would be a good place for business travellers, as there is a nice kitchenette and large desk.

This is a basic hotel, with the facilities they mention. The hotel was within walking distance to the medina and the mosque, and we could leave our luggage at the hotel. It was quite ok for one night. If you plan to stay more you might find the room small, old and noisy.

I loved how accommodating the entire staff was. Their number one priority was to please the guest. At 2:00 in the morning when I could not get a WiFi connection the front desk did all they cold to make sure I was happy. They earn an A+ for that effort!
And the hotel was very quiet. -

Location right by Casa Voyageurs for connecting with the airport is just excellent when travelling in Morocco for independent travellers can be tricky around transport hubs. Hotel very good for an Ibis....beats some in Australia. Had a room with a balcony and renovated bathroom. Nice garden to stroll in and all this right beside a railway station! Also tram to the city centre passes the door and it is modern and efficient. A shame it does not connect to Hassan Mosque.
