We loved our stay at Morante Apartment in Cannaregio Venice. I mixed up the dates of our booking & arrived 1 day earlier than my actual check in date. The staff, claudia, was very helpful & polite in allowing me & my family to check in early without charging anything extra - as we were making our way to venice from milan. The apartment was large & comfortable & quite central to everything. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable & accommodating our early check in!

This hotel was fantastic! Do not listen to all the negative reviews and just try the hotel for yourself. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were great and the breakfast was excellent. Fantastic location (5-10 minutes to St Marco Square) and super friendly and helpful staff. Mario happily greeted us for a very late 11:30 PM check-in when our flight was delayed. For the price, it had just about everything. The shower room was spacious and well heated; the bedroom was fine; the breakfast room served a good range of food (although the bread was dry on one morning of our 4-day stay); the location was well-nigh perfect. Being able to store baggage after checking out was a boon.

Carlo was fabulous-- we discovered a problem with our airline tickets at the airport which meant an additional night in Venice (even though we'd already checked out of the hotel that morning), Carlo graciously said he he could put us up for the night saying, "it will be nice to visit with you again." He was also helpful with finding an open pharmacy on a Sunday and answering our many questions.

Location is great! It takes just 5 minutes to reach San Marco, the same
time you will need to walk to Realto, and 20 minutes leisurely to Train
Station S.Lucia. But the most important thing is friendly considerate
personnel!
