Venice is a difficult city to get around in. This place was ideal because it is located on the same island as the train station. It's also in a very touristy area with lots of shops and restaurants, which was perfect for what we wanted. It was a very quiet place, so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. It was also very clean and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was good for an Italian place - consisting of toast, jam, biscuits, cake and coffee.
alle vurderinger » I liked the warm welcome from Allan. To be able to stay on the island is a privilege and São Paulo is perfectly located. We took the water bus from the train station after first asking for help from the tourist office at the station. We easily found the accommodation and it was fun navigating the unique streets of Venice. The owners were very friendly and gave lots of assistance. their restaurant recommendations were invaluable. The location was really great, very central, but also in a nice quiet area. I just stayed there for one night, and it was a perfect place to stay. Instead, its location enabled me to discover the city very well. Excellent punctuality and the personal (Allan) was very friendly and always looking for helping us out. The B&B was in a great location for exploring Venice. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice friendly owners, very close to main attractions, big breakfast. The staff is super nice and the room was cosy and warm. the breakfast was like in a picture and very tasty. Location, clean and good people. the boss was very nice. The location was alright, but definitely need google maps to find the place. Breakfast is delivered to your room, very basic an sweet but okay . The location was very central in Venice. Reasonable value for this part of Venice. The owner was very nice and friendly.The owwer picked me up from the vaporetto station to walk with me the first time in the dark. Location was quiet yet near to vaporetto and sights, cafes, restaurants, etc. It was a very quiet B&B, so if you're traveling solo or wanting a party place, it's not the place for you. Also, unlike other hostels, the staff were very quiet and did not offer us maps or information about Venice as seems to be the norm. Would have liked to stay longer - one night isn't really enough!. The breakfast is good, but after a week it can be very exhausting because it's the same breakfast everyday. A bit had to find for the first time, but once you've done it - everything's all right. It was very noisy due to the family with kids in the room next to us. Breakfast can exclude some of the biscuits or bread instead a piece of fruit would be much better. no city map address is not clear, difficult to find. Shower didn't work properly, had to hold shower head as it didn't fit in holder and the drain didn't work. No proper certain so bright light comes in from the street and there is a restaurant underneath that creates a lot of noise. Rooms - Poorly furnished, bed uncomfortable. Bathroom - Shared bathroom for three rooms. Shower very poor- cubicle door only opens about 400mm. Breakfast - very poor. At times terrible smell in foyer to rooms. No ac. awful breakfast: no hot drink at all, nothing fresh, even the croissant was shrink-wrapped, and 4 days long everyday exactly the same. The bed was so flabby, that I had to put the matress on the floor. . Bathroom was not clean and water from faucet took ages to get warm (never hot) at only a trickle.
