Umberto and his family were so helpful and welcoming. La francigena is a lovely place to stay. The pool and gardens were the perfect place to spend each afternoon between sightseeing visits to the surrounding area. Our apartment was comfortable and spacious with esp comfortable beds, generous shower and lovely 1900s italian furnishings. Our kitchen and balcony looked right out onto the pool - perfect to keep an eye on the kids. We were just a short scenic drive away from monteriggioni, Sienna,

The hotel is in the main street of a small village 20 mn from Siena. The flat was very clean and large with full-equiped kitchen+living room, large bedroom and bathroom with large shower.

Very friendly & helpful owners. Nice pool close to the house. Stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Lovely Chianti & olive oil made on the Fattoria. Perfect location for visits to Siena & Florence &, of course, Montereggione. Large bed room with leather sofas and reasonable size bathroom. Very relaxing environment. -

We had a very relaxing stay though the breakfast was a little limited unless you like cake for breakfast.

Perfect location to tour around Toscana. Siena, Firenze, Volterra, San Giminiano and many other beautiful towns. The Chianti area and Col val D'Orsa are also near. La Segolina is a perfect choice for those who like biking or walking in nature. The apartment is nice and spacious. The hosts, Maria and Antonio will treat you like their own family.
