Sanremo is a bigger town on the Ligurian coast, excellent base for doing
day trips to many of the small sea side towns or villages in the hills.
The town offers a decent selection of restaurants as well as shopping.
Hotel De Paris is situation next to the Casino at the
"entrance" to the old town and shopping district.Beachside and
habour are a 10-15 walk away.

Quiet, dignified hotel with spacious, clean, tastefully decorated room
with views over serene garden and distant sea. Staff all very helpful,
spoke English pretty well. Free pushbikes for use on track which starts
outside the back gate of the hotel. Great for long, flat coastal riding.
Free breakfast was also good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices
etc. All this for 72 euros a night. Sensational value.

Perfect place to relax from the city bustle, a bit on the country side, so you definitely need a car, but it is worth it! Dinner we had there was probably one of the best ones we ever had. There was no menu, so everything was a surpsise:) and a very good one, everything prepared from local produce, and home made crema di limoncello was heavenly! -

Location is not far away from the urban area and highway but at the same time it is far from the city noise and traffic, very green surrounding, birds are singing in the morning and evening, very friendly and helpful personell, excellent cuisine and reasonable prices in their domestic restaurant, secured parking in shade.

We had a magnificent view of the sea. The room was very clean. The staffwas nice (for instance, on our arrival, we crossed the cleaning lady inthe corridor, she asked us our room number, and directed us to it with abig smile..
