  The management team were excellent and provided us with everything we needed and more. The apartment was 5 minutes walk from the beach/shops/bars/cafés and restaurants. The apartment was perfect for a couple and had stunning views over the island and out to sea. We didn't use this option but was good to know it was there - Posidonia Residence has a very good location, near the porto and the main street of Ischia Porto where are a lot of stores, restaurants, etc. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and well eqiupped. There are spacious rooms: living room with kitchen and beed room. The kitchen has all necessary to cook. Also we have a fantastic panoramic sea view. Francesco creates warm and friendly atmosphere. There was space for a breakfast table, two chairs, two recliners, and a bench. Being ab - The view from our room (we had one balcony and a terrace) was AMAZING! The location of the hotel was perfect for Positano. We were very glad that we were not staying at any hotel on the upper side of the town since transportation within Positano can be challenging. A bit pricey but definitely worth the money. Perfect for honeymoon couples.

  We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". The daughter speaks the most English and the whole family was extre - We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach).   My wife and I travelled to this hotel for a night on our honeymoon. It was better than we could have imagined. The reason we chose this hotel was because of the brilliant reviews of the restaurant Taverna Del Capitano ( a michelin star restaurant) that is below the hotel.   The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful. - Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.
