We stayed here for two nights on a trip around the Amalfi coast and absolutely loved it. It was a real joy to open the shutters in the morning to the stunning view which was a view you would never tire off, simply breathtaking. The brothers who run the B & B are very helpful and are happy to assist with anything to make your stay a comfortable one. The breakfast was fantastic - fresh organic produce and an excellent seclection to choose from - it was bliss sitting on the terrace looking .
alle vurderinger » A lovely fascinating little B&B which actually was the family home before they made it a hotel. Pasquale & Marco manage the place with great charm. To reach the hotel you have to climb the hill while your suitcase go with the special lift. Charming. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the view from the big terrace and the roof is breathtaking.Breakfast is rich. Make sure you reach the place according to the owner's instructions and not by GPS, it might take you to a completely differnt. Overall, it's the best place we ever stayed in! The location is absolutely unique: up on top of a mountain overlooking Positano and the Amalfi coast. Gorgeous view from our balcony! Top breakfast, warm welcome by the hosts and an ideal location to start the Sentiero degli dei from! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle and Positano, yet close enough to the action by car or public transport. We'd love to come back here sometime in the near f. Upon arrival our in early July 2013, we immediately were welcomed and felt like part of the family. We were greeted by Pasquale who graciously provided us with a tour of the property as he shared his family history and the story of the creation of the B&B. Throughout our stay, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the view of Positano and the coast was breath-taking. The dinner was delicious and memorable. We would go back in a heart-beat!. this was "heaven on earth" from the location, food, setting, cleanliness, host and family this is the place in the clouds where your stay can never be long enough. they made our stay A very memorable one and we are looking forward to returning again next year. thank you again for your kindness and open arms and making our stay so very special. you are the best !!!!!!. Colle dell'Ara is more than just a place to stay. It is a retreat in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Extraordinary vistas, challenging yet safe hikes, staff that is so attentive and helpful, delicious breakfasts, and a home cooked dinner if you are lucky. Colle delle'Ara is in a town, Montepertuso, which is above Positano. Peaceful. This family run operation (headed by Pasquale) is determined to work hard to accommodate. The outstanding view means more work for the staff as there is no road to the door. Very interesting and enjoyable place among their gardens. Great food and tons of it! Family was so nice and helpful! Large room with a view and huge shower. Quiet outside of hustle bustle. The views from our room and patio were excellent. Our bags were put into our rooms by conveyer belt and the help. Beautiful setting and views. Very friendly and helpful. excellent hospitality. Unique experience. Awesome location Warm and friendly staff Food Music. Stunning views Welcoming staff Lovely breakfast. Getting there, beds a little hard, no air con. The only area of our stay that could be improved was that the firmness of the mattress was not favorable to our body type. However, we really enjoyed our room overall, including the modern, spacious and relaxing bathroom. we had to go home..... diner was very nice but a bit expensive. The location was a little further off the beaten track than we expected, however there were local buses that were easy to use. The towels and sheets were only changed every 3 days. There was a climb of up to 8 minutes to get to the B&B. Bed was a bit hard & pillow small. it wasn't very easy to find.
