  location was fantastic, english-speaking staff very friendly and helpful with regards to trains, ferries where to find things, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Considering the last-minute booking, we found that we got good value for our money - i found all the staff extremely helpful and spoke excellent English

  We stayed at this hotel twice in july 2013. For us it was an ideal location on our way to a camping in Toscana, and also for the return trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't too keen to leave my car loaded with 3 bicycles on the parking place. The staff allowed me to park the bicycles in their garage. Maybe not that good value for money compared to other cities, but generally the cities around lago como are expensive, so in that respect the price is okay. Breakfast was varied and always topped up when things ran out. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. A lovely hotel which we would go back to.
