  Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. Claudio was very helpful in answering all our questions. Having free interent access was great for additional research while in Italy and checking in with family.

  We loved the location and the size of the suite. It was very comfortable and had a homey feeling. Our host, Duccio, was very pleasant and greeted us with wine and complimentary soft drinks. I'd highly recommend this for anyone visiting Florence

  We stayed 6 nights in the summer. The location is simply perfect. The rooms are great as well - spacious, clean and with good facilities (water cooker for example). I'd advise to pay for the airco in the summer to close the windows to prevent noise from outside. The breakfast is also very nice; outside of the B&B in a typical Florentine bakery... hva folk sier » . Such a treat to have an espresso in a location like that. The owner is always willing to help and was very friendly. I would recommend Sani Tourist - We ended up in a small suite in another building which had a complete kitchen. The location is great; in the 'Dante' area of Florence. The person in charge of the hotel - Raymond - speaks English and is very helpful (he was born around the corner from the hotel). Keep in mind that Florence in June is packed with tourists and that Florence is an expensive city compared to other Tuscan cities. Thus, in general the hotel rooms will seem like a lot less value for the money vs. the rooms in othe
