Located right across the bridge from the train station and next to the vaporetta station we were able to see and do everything with little effort. I would definitely recommend this beatiful hotel to anyone - especially couples- planning to visit Venice. It is very convieniently located on the Grand Canal just opposite the reailway station. This is especially important if you are arriving by train from other cities in Italy. If you chose to fly to Venice directly you can take the bus form airport which stops at 5 min away from the hotel. And the vaporetto is likewise just departs in front of the railway station. Staff is excellent, always ready to please and help. Michelle speaks perfect English. Location is perfect. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.

The best thing here is the receptionists. They were extremely helpful and courteous. Thank you very much Adriano and Massimo. There was no noise at all and I was able to sleep well. I don't know how it sounds in the holiday season, though. The hotel is not far away from St. Mark. You can walk or take take ?bus" to it. By "the bus" stop Academia is a small restaurant owned by a family from Tunisia. Amany was a great hostess there.
