The fact that was a residence. How often can you stay in a Venetian home? Carpets were a bit rundown and the lighting could be perkier but overall the stay was fab. There is no staff to speak of but the one man who signed us in was very efficient. Like the passcode system to enter the residence any time of day or night. -

Excellent location close to St Mark’s square and in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood of Venice. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for the location alone, but the room was also big and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. I enjoy leaving here since it very closed to Accademia varporetto, 10 minutes to San Marco, no worries for meal as you will surrounded with restaurants (a bit expensive for us). The room is big, private bathroom, and refrigerator. The cleaness also good, but for us the floor is a bit dusty.. overall is pleasant living there.

The host is super friendly! we arrived Venice at 5:20 a.m. We felt very sorry about waking up the host early in the morning. He allowed us to leave our luggages in the room and use the bathroom before check-in time and had the room ready One hour after our arrival.

This hotel is located four water-bus stops away from the main train station, and the owner provides customers with very clear instructions on how to reach the hotel. The rooms was clean and comfortable, and had good air condition, which is essential during the summer in Venice. The window of our hotel room also overlooked a small canal, which was absolutely gorgeous, and the hotel is located in a gorgeous area. Very nice hotel with lovely decor.very good value for money as we paid270 euros for two nights bb and had a boat ride to murano included.Thebreakfast was also very good although could get a bit crowded and somepeople had to wait for a table.The location to st marks square isexcellent and directions from traveller on trip advisor were brilliant. - R
