I was initially a Venice sceptic but the magic of the place, and in particular this modern hotel, made it truly phenomenal.

The Hotel was excellent. Very well located (15meters from the boat station San Angello). Walking from there was a pleasure, and it is about 10 minute walk from San Marco plazza.

The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. Very well situated with rooms well styled although a bit small. The dining room was excellent and staff most helpful. Beautiful since being renovated especially dining room and bar areas. Bathrobes suppllied lovely touch but would be nice if bottle of water was left in room.
