  The hotel is located a block to the right as you exit the train station. Look for the sign; if you see it, it is not on the hotel but points the way. The room and breakfast are average here, but the location is great for a visit to the old city and the airport bus stop is in front of the train station. The rooms are neat and the hotel is well maintained. The location is ideal as its is across the road from the main train, bus and taxi stations which makes travelling very easy, so car hire is not necessary. It is also very close to Via XX Septembre and other main shopping areas which makes the hotel ideal for accessibility.

  friendly staff and locaton of hotel - The hotel staff really nice and friendly, location of the hotel, the breakfast was really good (the best of 10 hotels I stayed in Italy), the room was really nice! I really can recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for comfortable stay in Genova. Excellent!

  The staff were really really great!!! They allowed us to store our bags with them for 3 days while we travelled to the Cinque Terre. They were really helpful in advising us things to do in Genoa and places to go for dinner (the rec for Soho was great! Probably the best meal we had!) It's a typical European room (i.e., small bedroom, small bathroom... hva folk sier » ), but it had AC (which was necessary) and the hotel is in a great location, only a minute to Via Garibaldi and 5 or so mins to Piazza de Ferrari and - The hotel's central location in Genoa was its biggest benefit. Walking distance from the main train station, and very accessible to all that the old city of Genoa has to offer. Plenty of food options close by, as well as the funicular to the surrounding areas. The quirky retro feel of the hotel with original art was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean and all staff/owners very polite and helpful.

  The staff were fantastic. Always greeting you with a smile and saying hello. They seemed to enjoy their job and remembered who was from which country.   Was a nice small hotel with an Italian flair. Different from what one would expect from the us, but that is what made it neat. Staff very accommodating and while they gave me a break on WiFi, it would have been nice if it were included. Ten Euro's apiece for a continental breakfast was really pricey when you could get a couple of croissants and to... hva folk sier » coffees for four or five Euro's at any of the little eateries along the street. All said and done, was a nice stay and would stay there again. - Staff could speak English well and customer service was great. The girl on the counter explained a great walking tour and marked up a map in detail. I did not get lost!!!! Location was fantastic. Because it is so close to GenoaPiazza I did my research on google maps and found the place easily from the station. Easy walk to all the city sights including the main piazza.
