The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. distance. This is a family run, apartment kind of hotel with no
reception. You ring the bell and sign in in the upper communal area. Our
friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not
allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like
animals. This one didnt mind and everyone was allowed to join the
communal area. We were even allowed to stay longer when we runned late

Although this was not close to the train station and it is quite expensive to travel on the water taxi to get to the hotel, it was in a great location close to Piazza San Marco and the lovely quiet area and gardens of St. Elena. Excellent location and standard of room - delightful quiet part of Venice, very helpful staff - Umberto met us at the vaporetto stop and helped us get our bags to the hotel. The room was gorgeous with beautiful canopied bed and large bathroom all just completed.
