This hotel is a gem. The room was fantastic, easy walk to San Marco and the staff was lovely. I would highly recommend it. The apartment (vivaldi) was very clean and the staff friendly. They didn't have a booking for our last day so they let us check out at 6pm. The fact that was a residence. How often can you stay in a Venetian home? Carpets were a bit rundown and the lighting could be perkier but overall the stay was fab. There is no staff to speak of but the one man who signed us in was very efficient. Like the passcode system to enter the residence any time of day or night. -

time you will need to walk to Realto, and 20 minutes leisurely to Train
