We loved this hotel. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big and clean and we had a balcony with a great view. The centre is a 20 minute walk away, but the walk down the river (past a number of good cafe's etc) is worth the effort. The hotel is a delight and our garden room was more than we had
expected. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always
looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of
Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The
service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and
aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

We stayed for 7 nights and loved every moment of our stay. Hosts
Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through
the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much
trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to
visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary
fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights -
another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this
place was great.
