We stayed three nights there and longed to stay much longer. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

But as far as I understood 2-star hotels in Florence are not that far from 4-star hotels in other cities. Besides the price was very moderate in comparison with hotels in other famous cities. Near the hotel some shops (for it was better than empty trip to outlet near Florence), trattorias, and Coop supermarket.

  Everything was ok :-) very comfortable, big and clean room :-) the same I can say about kitchen and bathroom. Owner doesnt speak english but it isnt so big problem because she is very nice person. - The hotel room is tidy and nice. The hotel host is a friendly woman.

Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights - another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this place was great.
