Nina, Salvatore and their children are a very friendly and helpful family, and the location of their home is great -- in the countryside with a beautiful view. We had brought a picnic lunch with us so they put a tablecloth on one of the terrace tables and asked if we needed anything -- we felt very much at home. This agriturismo is only a few kilometers from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento so we got there very easily. The continental breakfast was delicious and included a good selection .
alle vurderinger » Location is good - 10 minutes drive from Valle dei Templi and Agrigento. Quite easy to find with/without GPS. This farmhouse is in a quite rural area. Wifi - good. Territory is nice, rooms are comfortable, have air con, balcony and terrace, no TV(in our room). Breakfast is good - coffee, fruits, pastry, water. You also can have lunch, the price is reasonable and you will have a chance to enjoy local products and wine. The staff were delightful and welcoming. The dinner was excellent. Agriturismo Due Granee provided gluten free food as requested. The fresh fruit was from the organic orchard on the farm. The location was beautiful. The room was comfortable with panoramic views across the countryside. We have only praise for this agriturismo. The experience & privilege of staying with a family on their own farm was fantastic. It was also a great opportunity for my husband to practice his Italian after spending 4 weeks at a language school in Italy. The family made us feel very welcome & we were treated to some amazing meals. The owners are very friendly which made the couple of nights there worth it. Food offered was great - delicious homemade food, home made wine and limoncello were really good. Great outdoor views as it is set on high grounds. Despite the remote location Internet connection was very good. Very friendly owner. Even though he didn't speak English we conversed through his children & sign language. We could not find the hotel during a rainstorm & the owner very kindly met us nearby and guided us back to his home. Wonderful evening meal. Our meals including an evening meal prepared for us by our hosts--fresh ingredients from due ganee itself, wonderfully tasty and well-prepared. Great location for getting to the temples by a back route that our host shared with us. We loved our stay: our friendly host, the delicious home cooked food, and the lovely view from the terrace. The room, while not luxurious, was comfortable and welcoming. The most beautiful and friendly place in Sicily. Thank You Mr. Salvatore and Your family! Friendly host/family, beautiful view on valley behind Agrigento, excellent food!!, best address for staying several days visiting Agrigento and its region. very quite location despite the city only a few miles away. very nice owner taking good care of you excellent food, simple, fresh and mostly home made. lovely hosts, very friendly, lovely italain dinners dinning outside under the stars, breakfast excellent would recommend this place to any traveller. Helpful staff. Good size room. There is nothing that we would change. It's a little difficult to find but our host was very helpful in directing us how to get there. We used the address quoted in the booking for our GPS but it would be better to use the coordinates instead. Rooms are very basic & in need of upgrading (no tv in room & no windows) Decor is also old fashioned including the dining room & outdoor areas. Hard to find as the route on gps follows a closed bridge & coordinates on letsbookhotel.com are not correct. A little hard to find. It's inpossible to say anything negative :). in fact nothing we only expected to stay in an old rural house or farm ... it is our first experience with this concept. plumbing poor , no hot water and rather difficult to find. It was very difficult to access the internet. A very long password that we could never get to work. The room was much more expensive than other, nicer places we stayed in Sicily.
