B&B Villa Seta is a wonderful place to stay when you want to visit Agrigento and the Southern part of Sicily. The owners do everything to make you feel at ease, and are always prepared to give information about places worth visiting in the neighbourhood. Their friendliness is simply amazing: when you stay here, you are treated as a highly repected family member. We started our days with an excellent breakfast (incl. home-made cake and biological fruit from the garden). After a good daytrip .
alle vurderinger » Five star service in a boutique B&B! The owners were absolutely amazing and so friendly. You felt like part of the family. The breakfast was generous with fresh fruits from their garden and the home made cakes were delicious. Everything was so clean and well-kept. The pool area was lovely with comfortable sun loungers. The owners recommended us a good restaurant (Locanda di Terra) in Agrigento. Instead of just giving us the address, they told us that they were also going there and they told. This gem is literally hidden in the suburb of Villaseta; the GPS coordinates provided at the site brought us not to the hotel, but to the beginning of a small country road (well signed as a direction to Villa Seta B&B), leading form a usual city street another several hundred meters to a classical country hotel, with a nice grounds and a pool. If not November rains, we would certainly spend some time near the pool, sunbathing and swimming. The staff was very helpful; the breakfast was excel. + Most friendly staff/family members we enjoyed during our 2 weeks stay !!! + best breakfast we had from all our B&B stays during that time + everything very new, the rooms, furnitures, garden, pool + feeling like being part of the local family + exclusive private feeling with the nice garden and pool side and just a few guests + ideal to stay for visiting Agrigento city, the Valle dei Templi or the Agrigento Beaches (just need a car to get around for sure) - its just little bit harder to. Although the owners of the B&B did not speak English they were very welcoming and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The house is set in beautiful grounds with a lovely terrace and pool. The breakfast was outstanding - the best breakfast during our week long stay on Sicily. Most of the food was homegrown and Gabriella's home-made pastries and cakes tasted better than any others we had sampled. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Also, it is only approximately 2 km . Wonderful garden and pool area, very well kept house and garden, very obliging hosts, friendly, doing everything for the guests, I.E. fresh bread and bakery in the morning, wonderful buffet breakfast, organic orange juice from their own oranges, eggs from their own farm. Information about the sights, good tips. Enzo and Gabriella are truly wonderful hosts. They go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. The place is absolutely stunning - beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, close to Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples. The owners are the perfect hosts, they make you feel very welcome. The breakfast spread was very varied, with lots of options, including amazing home-made cakes, tomatoes and mozzarella, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, etc. The hotel is spotlessly clean. B&B Villa Seta is really a super place to stay. The rooms are newly renovated with a lot of good "taste" and are very clean. The hosts are as friendly as can be and although their English is poor you always understand eachother. Their garden and pool are great. Breakfast is as good as can be. We had a great time at Villa Seta. Location was close to the temples which seems to be the only reason to visit Agrigento. B&B was just outside of the city in a lovely setting. It was very close to the highway but the windows & shutters kept out the noise. Breakfast was exceptional & served in a very nice outdoor protected area. Warm welcome by friendly staff, clearly the best value for money we got during our trip around sicily - new and modern room (though quite small) with a very nice bathroom and spacious shower. Location is great near the new Città dei Templi shopping and 10 mins to the temples. Highly recommended. The hotel has a beautiful garden with swimming pool surrounded by lemon and orange tree, The owner is friendly and consideratative though he doesn't speak much English, we used google translate to communicate. Breakfast was great with varity of choice. We felt Ike staying home. Beautiful and quiet place just outside Agrigento in the village of Villaseta and near a Mall. A good place to rest for the night. Enzo and Gabriella were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Eggs, cheese and various breads were available. It's a superb peaceful place to stay next to Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The couple running the villa is truly doing everything for their guests to make their stay perfect. This was by far our best accomodation in all Sicily. Beautiful BnB, very nice owners, lovely setting, nice and fresh decor, safe parking within the villa, very well kept garden and swimming pool area. The location was a bit of shock initially, at the end of a very bumpy road and our room on, the second floor, was was practically level with a major road. Although very beautifully decorated, the room was a bit small but great consideration had been given to equip the room with everything that was needed - even a plug-in mosquito repellent! None of these factors would prevent us returning. Room rather small, the house is right beside a through road. The windows are good, and, if you don't want to sleep with your window open. Nothing at all. One has to keep in mind that the "highway" runs directly behind B&B Villa Seta. So there is no chance to escape this noise. We did not really mind but there might be other people who do. A little hard to find - the address didn't show on our GPS. Luckily we spotted a sign for the B&B. Room was a bit small but very adequate. Lack of power outlets in the room next to bed, highway is close but that did not disturb us, road to the villa is not in a good condition. Absolutely nothing!. Nothing. We found it a little difficult to get to but were guided by Gabriella. -. Located next to ring road, so a bit noisy. Not easy to find. Nothing. Availability to make hot drinks in bedroom in the afternoon and evening. Bumpy road to get there. The owner was a bit like a bodygard, always standing there and making sure everything is fine, therefore the privacy was missed a bit. Sometimes I felt that I would be in a school and the teacher makes sure I do not do anything bad :-). Despite this I would recommend to everybody this place -is a piece of paradise in Sicily. Nothing.
