It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. Veronika is a very good host. She is very friendly & helpful. We were collected from the train station upon our arrival and dropped off upon our departure. She is always in good mood and forever smiling & laughing.

Very nice apartments near the beach. Perfect location, considerate owner, good value for money, very quiet and peaceful place. Economy apartments are quite smal but equepped by all necessary stuff.

The owner was lovely and welcomed us very nicely even though we arrived very late. The room was fairly basic but extremely clean and tidy and we had a good nights sleep. It was a short drive to the lake where we drove to the following morning. -

The Pension is close to Lake Balaton and to an Inner Lake which is perfect for fishing, and walking tours around. Really good biking routes around, and they have lot of events and festivals during summer in Tihany. -

storage. The garden outside was very pretty and it location of 10 minute
walk from the centre of Tihany is great. However, we were there at the
very end of September, and at 8pm, it was dead silent, felt more like it
was midnight!
