  Beautiful contemporary design. The breakfast buffet provided very good food. The room was spotless. The swimming pool is part of the rehab center and a real find if you want to swim laps. Short taxi ride to Tegel airport. - Because this hotel is really part of a hospital, it is rather unconventional. But it is spotlessly clean, and clinically run! The swimming pool doubles as a therapy pool for patients, so may not always be available, but it too was spotlessly clean, and I loved having it. Generous breakfast buffet was included in our special deal, and was good. Car parking was free and plentiful.

  The location was excellent with a lot of restaurants, stores, even a market & a laundry facility near by to wash our clothes before our departing to Paris for another 5 days. It was really helpful. Although we had a little scare on the morning of our checking out of the hotel, the emergency alarm went off with the instructions over the pa syst... hva folk sier » em to direct guests to leave our hotel room immediately due to a technical problem/fire in a hotel. We had to evacuate by stairs from the 6th floor to - Very clean, comfortable, well-organised hotel - a bit like a super-hostel! Our room was overlooking the courtyard, so was quiet and we could open the window - our friends overlookong the street found it noisy with the window open. The shower and separate loo was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and quality was very good. Very good choice for a city break - though a bit distant from central Berlin. Make sure you have a Berlin travel ticket and a good map of the S and U- B
