  The host was awesome, picked us up and returned us to the train station as the location is a bit of an uphill hike. he offered to give us rides at other times as well. very nice breakfast, wi-fi, TV, etc. The town of Bacharach is great and the B&B is is a nice walk (partly uphill) to the castle with superb views. - The room was large with i... hva folk sier » ts own bathroom, very nice a quite. The owner is very nice and welcoming. He picked us up from the train station and also dropped us off again the day we were leaving. He also serviced us a German breakfast each morning of our stay.

  The owners are a husband and wife they could not do enough to make our stay one to remember. Hans had a wonderful sense of humour. Personally took us to our room showed us how the tv worked and sattelite system. Went with my husband to show him where to park the car free of charge.   Within minutes of clicking "book now", our experience with Restaurant Pension Bei-der-Post was nothing short of wondeful. Becky and Gary immediately sent a personalized email thanking my wife and I for our booking, offering to answer any questions we had. Not only did they offer to be there when we arrived and store our bags, they did something no other hote - Have had an eventful few days! Stayed with the lovely Rebecca Crosby and Gary Crosby at "Hotel bei der Post" in Bacharach, saw some beautiful castles (even one in the middle of the Rhine)! Had a great time drinking local beer and watching the soccer. Caught a ferry across to Rüdesheim and have fallen in love! Had real Rüdesheimer kaffee and waffeln at a very bayern-german restaurant while watching the snowfall outside. Our hotel room is gorgeous - so romantic and typical german. making a lot of
