  the staff and the comfort. it was by far the nicest hotel i stayed at since in China. the location is good too - close to the Islamic quater and the Bell and Drum tower. I would recommend it to anyone who cares about comfort and is ready to pay a little extra for comfy beds, fast internet and great room service.   This hostel is the best I've stayed in China, though the room/ bathroom were small the bed was as comfortable as a 5 star hotel and they have all sorts of facilities to make the life of a traveller easier and more fun, like laundry facilities and a pool table.   A good old school room, all the essentials to hand. They even presented me with a plate of fruit and vegetables on my first day. The location is top. Just a few mins walk from the Metro from where you can get the subway up to the Xian North Train station, for fast trains to all around China.
