It's clean, the room is spacious, the staff are helpful (although they had a hard time speaking in English which seems to be the norm in Beijing).
The location (depending on your fitness, it's around 20-30 mins walk to Forbidden City and about 5-10 mins walk to Qianmen St. Market and I guess, 10-20 mins to the Temple of Heaven)

The staff were extremely helpful, especially front desk manager Thomas and Murphy in guest relations. They really helped us get along in a city where very few individuals speak English. We were immediately upgraded at no extra cost due to no availability of non smoking room. The reception and conciege staff were excellent and very cooperative. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was excellent for shopping and sightseeing. The spa was nice but a little pricey. -

Clean, comfortable, nice little 'cute' gestures from the staff (cookies every evening at around 18:00 o'clock, morning Enligsh newspaper China Daily to your door, free minibar restocked every day).
