Kapok was on the door step of the forbidden city and tien'amen and very convenient for the purpose; to visit these. The design is great and the rooms have wood floors, always a plus in China where carpet cleaning is not a top priority. A consideration for those traveling with a partner or sharing a room on business, the bathrooms are glass walled with a curtain to pull shut when using the space, so consider this when booking this hotel depending on who else may be in the room.   The staff were friendly and profession. At the raffles you feel comfortable and get the feeling of being at home. Hotel was very clean and you got value service for your money.
