  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard. The hotel has great restaurants too, we enjoyed tasty evening meals and breakfasts with a good choice for everyone.

  The staff were incredibly polite and the service was impeccable. They were also very helpful in providing us with "local knowledge" of where to go have fun, have good food etc etc. The room itself was huge. Remember this is in the Hutong so it can be a little hard to find but once your their you are in for a treat.
