  This is a lovely Japanese style garden hotel on the grounds of the Guilin Botanical Garden. The spacious rooms are located in a number of 2-story buildings scattered around a koi pond and gardens. We came here after several days touring the ethnic villages west of Guilin and it was a marvelous place to unwind and relax and feed the koi from our p... hva folk sier » ond-side patio. While not close to the main Guilin tourist sites, you can reach most of them by a pleasant 30-40 minute walk or by a short taxi ride. - This is probably the best hotel in Guilin: good services, fresh air, green location inside a botanic garden, a perfect zen garden with a pool, lake and tea house - you will feel like an emperor! Other aspects: - good wifi; - diverse breakfast; - staff is ok with english; - free pickup from airport and free ride from the hotel to the exit of the botanic garden; note: that the hotel is not central but it's close to the bus and there is a mall just outside of the garden

  Very nice hotel and located on the river- we payed extra in order to get the executive rooms and the access to the Corporate lounge at the top floor which includes free snacks and drinks. Rooms very nice - The hotel was wonderful. The staff were always pleasant and accomodating. The chinese buffet in the Cathay restaurant was especially good valu... hva folk sier » e in a 5 star hotel. - The rooms were well design, confortable and luxurious just enought and not too much. Clean. The chinese restaurant was one of the best we had! Service number one
