  The staff were incredible, they were great fun and really made us feel at home. The manager was very helpful and made it easy for us to plan our trips and get around with all of his advice. The great wall tour that they provided was excellent away from the touristy locations it was a great experience. The location was good just a 10minute walk from tian'anmen squa - The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there. The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends. Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus! The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area. 4 Stars Recommend

  Room service and facilities are very good. The breakfast menu diversity (there are also non-Chinese dishes). Good Chinese restaurant in 50 metres distance. One employee on reception was actually able to explain things in English. - It was near the convention center. You could get to almost anywhere in Beijing by taxi within 30 minutes.   Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie.   We had booked a 2-bedroom family suite, which was apparently not available when we arrived--so for the same price were upgraded to a junior suite (living room, br, 1-1/2 baths) and adjacent deluxe room...very elegant and even more luxurious than we'd expected. Definitely on the pricey side, but a wonderful way to end our China trip! - Family room was fantastic, (5 adults) large and comfy beds with a large lounge area. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)

  They upgraded me to executive suite - it was a pleasant surprise. Also, I was super happy with their flexibility. I had to run errands and couldn't get back to the hotel to check out before 2 PM and they extended my stay without charging me extra. Really thoughtful and the staff was truly amazing. They upgraded me in an executive room, the swimming pool was quite big and the staff has been very friendly (despite some problems in the communication).
