our host Michel was absolutely one of a kind.
Michel made us feel like home from minute one, being warm and friendly and providing us lots of tips and information about Quebec City. What a wonderfull man he is. Michel served us an excellent breakfast at his beautiful terrace

Michel is an outstanding host, so eager to please. He is a great tourist guide passionate about his home and his city. He even made a booking for us to have lunch in the Parliament House dining room. His breakfasts were great and he sat down with us to talk about our day. French is his first language but he converses well in English. He also has a beautiful singing voice and serenaded us after dinner one night.

Only 20 mins drive north of Quebec City. Large, clean room (we stayed in
the "Zen" room) with colour therapy jacuzzi tub.
Only a few mins drive to nearby microbrew/restaurant Pub Archibald (recommended by our host, and for good reason!), or Siberia Station Spa (hot/cold baths/saunas/hottubs).
House itself is right on Lac St Charles, with at least 5 single & double kayaks and canoes to use. Lake was glassy, quiet, and beautiful for paddling, though as it's the water supply for Quebec City,

Their signature top-notch breakfasts were healthy, tasty, varied, most ample, and beautifully presented. The linens in the bedroom, bathroom and at the table are highest quality. Excellent owner....Elizabeth was incredibly helpful and put her kitchen and her sitting room at our disposal. We really enjoyed her company and sense of humour. Beautiful imaginative breakfasts ((veggie for us). Out of town but very handy for buses. Comfortable and well equipped. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back. -

Everything spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Very good and ample continental breakfast. Location very good for Dufferin Terrace, rue St. Louis and shops, restaurants, etc. They recommended Cafe de la Paix, 5 minutes' walk, very good.
Language no problem. Parking is offsite, 2-minute walk away.

Room was big, clean and I loved the all the details and loved put in the preparation of the room.

The energy of the host was amazing! He was so friendly and helpful. When I asked for directions to a restaurant he immediately hopped on the phone to assure that they were still open. The craftsmanship put into the place was above and beyond. He paid such attention to all the details. The location is a bit far from the places we wanted to see

Choosing this hotel was a wild guess, but a very good one. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and have all been personally decorated in pirate-style by Antonin. The bathroom is shared (with one other room), but clean. Great hospitality, Antonin is probably the most friendly pirate you'll ever meet (and he makes great Belgian waffles as well).
