Excellent owner....Elizabeth was incredibly helpful and put her kitchen and her sitting room at our disposal. We really enjoyed her company and sense of humour. Beautiful imaginative breakfasts ((veggie for us). Out of town but very handy for buses. Comfortable and well equipped. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back. -

Hotel is small, more a B&B. Charming old house dating back to 1800's. Filled with Victoriana. Room was quite small with small bathroom, t.v., etc. But furnishings really interesting. Everything spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Very good and ample continental breakfast. Location very good for Dufferin Terrace, rue St. Louis and shops, restaurants, etc. They recommended Cafe de la Paix, 5 minutes' walk, very good.
Language no problem. Parking is offsite, 2-minute walk away.

who was amazingly friendly. It is right on the lake, there is a nice
little dock and a bunch of kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat to use. The

Only 20 mins drive north of Quebec City. Large, clean room (we stayed in
the "Zen" room) with colour therapy jacuzzi tub.
Only a few mins drive to nearby microbrew/restaurant Pub Archibald (recommended by our host, and for good reason!), or Siberia Station Spa (hot/cold baths/saunas/hottubs).
House itself is right on Lac St Charles, with at least 5 single & double kayaks and canoes to use. Lake was glassy, quiet, and beautiful for paddling, though as it's the water supply for Quebec City,

We particularly enjoyed the fact that, not only were the rooms clean and neat, but there was a small sitting room available to the guests providing comfortable seating for an evening get-together before bedtime. Also there was a small area with a fridge and microwave along with a pot of fresh coffee and a variety of tisanes available to the guests. The breakfast provided was excellent and the company of the hosts was most enjoyable.
