  The hotel itself was beautiful with a charming room with a fireplace that had the elegance of a posh hotel but the lovely aroma of a cabin. The valet's were amazing and were so helpful - even lending an umbrella when we went out an outting! - The staff really makes you feel like royalty...truly a 5 star service.

  The Chateau Laurier is a lovely clean hotel and very close to the Old City. The room was nice and roomy and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. This hotel would be perfect for those traveling with children. We had a great stay!

  My wife and I were just stopping thru the area and only stayed one night, we would have loved to stay more!!!!! We were greeted by Pierre who was amazingly friendly. It is right on the lake, there is a nice little dock and a bunch of kayaks, canoes, and a rowboat to use. The fishing in the lake is supposed to be pretty good too. There is an outdoo... hva folk sier » r firepit and plenty of room to relax outside or in. The rooms were clean and really well appointed. We even had a fridge and coffee maker in the room - Only 20 mins drive north of Quebec City. Large, clean room (we stayed in the "Zen" room) with colour therapy jacuzzi tub. Only a few mins drive to nearby microbrew/restaurant Pub Archibald (recommended by our host, and for good reason!), or Siberia Station Spa (hot/cold baths/saunas/hottubs). House itself is right on Lac St Charles, with at least 5 single & double kayaks and canoes to use. Lake was glassy, quiet, and beautiful for paddling, though as it's the water supply for Quebec City,

  Everything about the hotel was amazing. Suites were clean and spacious, very quiet. Great place to stay and also enjoy the amenities. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating.   Exceptional staff. I had issues with my Visa card and front desk spent 2 hours trying to help me . And always with a smile , very personal and humane. We stayed the first week of August, so we were able to use a pool too. Nice , clean and entertaining for kids . Very clean rooms. Highly recommend . We had really good time .
