  Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. I (62) and my wife Saliha (54) made a 24-hour visit to Salzburg on our way from Munich to Vienna based on the advise of our son who has been a student in Munich Technica... hva folk sier » l University. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  The rooms were clean and spacious with all necessary facilities including internet. The staff and particularly Mrs Frauenschuh were most courteous and helpful. - Very friendly and attentive service from a family run hotel. When wewent to use the sauna, robes and slippers were brought personally to us.

  Self contained, private apartment in a residential block. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful - an unexpected flight change was accommodated without charge as was a variation of check-in time. They looked after our luggage prior to our flight home. It was good value, quite basic but comfortable accommodation which served a purpose. I wen... hva folk sier » t there to run the Salzburg Marathon and chose the apartment for its location, convenience and privacy. I could address my preparation properly. The r - The appartment is very comfortable, well furnished and clean( they do charge €50 cleaning fee).We had number 912, with access to a terrace. The view was towards Alps / river and part of Downtown . Laundromat on premises is a plus. Safe parking underground(€10/day extra). Mr Forisch is very efficient at addressing issues. They did allow one extra child no extra charge.
