The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  This was an amazing find. Literally in the heart of old Salzburg; close to the water, Mozart's birthplace and the French Church with a beautiful panorama of the city. The bus stop is in 6 minutes walk from the hotel. - Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.
