  The situation of the hotel was fantastic with amazing views particularly overlooking Salzburg with the mountain range as a backdrop. We also loved the food and the flexibility and convenience of being able to order evening meals at a special half board rate when required. The staff and owners were particularly friendly and helpful. - Although the l... hva folk sier » ocation of the hotel was away from the city centre and quite a hike if you walk from the last bus stop it is well worth the effort to get there even if you are without a car. It was a pleasant change from staying in a city and the view of the snowcapped alps from the room added to the experience
