  2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, well equipped with all facilities, clean & comfortable... great for a family. Quiet location, walking distance to city & great selection of restaurants. Secure parking and friendly staff all contributed to a great weekend's accommodation. We would definitely stay again next time we visit Townsville. -... hva folk sier » The fact that as soon as we walked into the room we were greeted with a fresh clean smell and the whole room was clean. This seems to be a rare thing these days because cleaning products are not used in every place that we have been to, some just use water and one cloth for everything.

  The staff were extremely friendly and happy to give me a room with a city view after already allocating our room. The view was magical and the location was central. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from my own bed and the facilities were beautiful....perfect for my romantic getaway... - The reception staff upon arrival were exce... hva folk sier » llent. They made us feel comfortable and welcome. The complimentary drinks at the Metropole were a great idea and we would definitely stay there again. We also liked that the rooms were couple off so that anyone entering the room had to get through two doors.

  Awesome people there.Felt so at home.Didnt bother us in any way. Helpful and friendly and gave us information on things we asked them about.And she let me stay in our room after checkout as my partner was moving all our belongings. - Friendly lady and gentleman in charge, easy to find, room was clean and comfortable and good value for money.

  We stayed here for two nights and got a special for the room, it had a great room with foxstar, we loved it. The bed was wonderful we hardly got out, room service was although a little on the pricey side AMAZING it's in a great area, close to everything. We're defiantly staying again! - I was a late arrival and pleased to find out the restaurant... hva folk sier » was open till 10pm. Most similar hotels shut the kitchen down at 8. Great quality food presented well. Easy, no fuss breakfast. Will choose to stay at Rydges next time.

  We stayed for 6 nights and the spaciousness of the apartment was ideal for that. Staff were obliging. Location was excellent for our purpose.
