  Friendly, courteous and obliging receptionist who arranged an early breakfast the following morning and taxi which was on time. Cafe staff also well trained in customer service engaging me in polite, welcoming conversation. - Friendly staff who went out of their way to make my late check in work.   Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served)... hva folk sier » and was very pleased with service, quality and quantity. Great view from dining area. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually. Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.
