I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The 3 bedroom apartment had a luxurious feel- very spacious. The kitchen was big and very functional which is perfect for a busy family. The internet access was exc. alle vurderinger
There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments.
It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked.
I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo.
It was an excellent one bedroom apartment. Plenty of room, very tidy, and had all the necessary facilities. I will definitely be back here and it was great to be able to take advantage of Booking com's special rate. A special mention to Tony at reception on the morning of the 15th September 2013 who was very friendly, and helpful when I arrived early with my luggage. Lovely staff, good price, cleanliness, rooms & great beds, kitchen well fitted out & really clean, decor pleasant & modern, parking included in price, close to rail station, close to airport, close to city. Airconditioning in living areas was great had an option that had what seemed like fresh air .
Found a restaurant for dinner (pizza bar) just don the road - for such a new area, its working really well.
The cleanliness and decor of our apartment was outstanding. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We felt welcome and enjoyed the luxuriousness. We had our very own washing machine and drier which was very convenient especially since we had been traveling abroad. Most places we stayed at before only had a shower so we loved the fact that we had a bath which was fabulous! And the coffee was awesome!!.

So the behinds the scene staff are exceptional as well, the 5 star apartments are great and roomy,balcony plus taxi stand out front, can easily catch one and go to city for 20$ or Central Station for $15, car parking extra charge but cant complain. Design of the room that was well-furnished and had all the facilities incl. washing machine, fridge and oven. Great view from 8th floor. Sauna and small swimming pool. 1Gb of free internet every day. Had two TVs in our room. Considering it is Sydney where everything is overpriced this hotel was the excellent value for money! Also we received a free upgrade to 1-bedroom apt instead of studio apt.
Everything there was great, all facilities are in good condition, our two bedrooms apartment has two bathrooms which provided us convince. location in a bit far from city and the nearest train station is not in walking distance, but there are buses in 10mins walk. there are a few restaurants and a chinese supermarket nearby, not quite sure about opening hours thought. overall enjoy the stay.
We were fortunate and had an upgrade to accommodate our need for twin beds. It was very spacious, with good clothes washing and drying facilities. There was a good Italian restaurant nearby. As the apartments are relatively new the fixtures, fittings, linen etc were all in excellent condition. We also appreciated having two pillows each! Good storage space for luggage and clothes.
Set in a fairly groovy modern precinct, the apartment was well appointed and comfortable, with two king beds and two bathrooms. Well insulated from traffice noise, and with underground car parking provided. Reception staff were professional and friendly. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the convenience of two restaurants just a few minutes walk away.
The apartment was very modern and spacious, with all the facilities we could possibly need (fridge, stove, oven, washing machine and dryer etc). The free wifi was also very good and we found this very useful. It was good that the apartments were serviced daily. Additionally the air conditioning in the rooms were nice to cool down at night time.
The facilities are well equipped and we are generally comfortable with our room. Amenities are modern and more than what I expect. Receptionist is warm and accomodating. Room is being cleaned daily and supplies are being replenished. We stayed for a week and we really enjoyed it at Meriton. Definitely, I will come back again.
I stayed in a studio apartment which was modern, smart, clean, with a huge fridge and a kitchen with good facilities. Great location if you have a car, which costs $25/night but it's right underneath and easy access to and from.
Walking distance to Pub and great Thai.
Free 1gb of internet usage. Would definitely recommend.
Everything is new~~ very clean and comfortable bed, clean bothroom and
kitchen, They have the whole set whiteware, dish wahsing machine,
laundry machine and dryer. 10-15Mins to city center by Taxi or 20-30
mins by train. Thai restaurant, Italian restaurant and wine shop near
by. 20Mins from Airport. Will stay here again.
Most definitely a complex worth booking into regardless of it's location from the CBD. Apartments in excellent condition and worth every penny if your lucky enough to grab a deal. Beds extremely comfortable, but pillows were a nightmare. Great to return to the room everyday to find it beautifully made up and clean.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and they upgraded our room and gave us a late checkout as it was our anniversary. The quality of the rooms was wonderful. Very streamlined and fresh. The kitchen facilities are fantastic, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Stayed for a week and will likely do so again. Comfortable rooms, well appointed and maintained though design not overly user-friendly. Good location close to public transport. Surprisingly quiet given nearness to airport and major roads. Parking costs an extra $25 per day but is secure and convenient.
The staff were helpful and were able to re-allocate us to a one-level apartment. The layout of the apartment and its facilities were top-notch! The free wifi worked well on our iPad and the daily 1 Gb allowance was sufficient. The 20 metre lap pool and spa were very modern and well maintained.
The Meriton at Zetland was our last hotel visited in Sydney and our favourite one of all.
It had a big spacious room and a small balcony which was perfect as we smoke.
The staff were really helpful ,and we were let to leave our bags at the storage room for hours after having checked out.
Chose apartment as wanted a place near the airport. It was about 7 min drive.
Excellent accommodation!
We were there for 2 nights before continuing our trip further north.
We are due back there for another night before our long trip back to UK.

Staff were excellent. Everything is well organized, everything works. The environment is clean and green, well organised and feels very safe.
The accommodation is well proportioned, solid and quiet!

I loved the space in the two bedroom apartment and that the two seperate bedrooms were seperate for some privacy. Great kitchen with all the extra supplies like ironing board and iron and the living area was comfortable and luxurious. The private balcony was perfect too.
Beautiful facility! There is a nice cafe down the street for breakfast or lunch. It was a longer walk, 15 minutes, to the train into Sydney but a good neighborhood to walk through. Loved having a washer dryer! If you wanted to cook there was everything you could need.
This is the most amazing place I've ever lived in Sydney. Just around $110 per night you got a fully serviced apartment including full kitchen facility, LED TV, washing machine and dryer all in your room. Plus 1GB of free wifi per day. The best 4 nights ever in Sydney.
Almost new, the one bedroom Apartment was really spacious, very well
equipped, great kitchen and would be very suitable for a longer stay. We
stayed on the groundfloor on which case you get two terraces. Crown
street with its many restaurants is about 2,5 km away.
Wonderful memory of staying in this Meriton Serviced Apartment in Sydney. Spacious room with almost everything you need for 2-3 days staying. Oven is well equipped. Very convenient place just like being home. Good value of money. Will stay here again next time.
We could not fault the room and facilities, everything was just clean and spotless and well equipped. The location was very handy to where we wanted to be and getting an upgrade to a 1 bedroom topped off a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Wow!! My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The apartment was that impressive that we are talking about purchasing some investment properties of the same style. It was like a home away from home and we were only there for the night! Very impressed.
Very modern apartments with everything you could possibly need if you want to cater for yourselves. All the equipment and furnishings were outstanding. Car park under the building at 25 dollars a day. Local bus ride into city centre takes 25 mins.
I really enjoyed the interior, it was comfy and easy to navigate around. I Personally would always stay at a Meriton. It's a beautiful experience, stayed there 3 times already and have one more booked for Broadbeach in QLD. Absolutley Love Meriton!.
Apartment extremely spacious and well equipped with first class furnishings. Didn't expect it to be so luxurious for what we paid. Quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer but it was only an overnight stay as no evening flight back to NZ.
We absolutely loved these apartments and found them to be very modern, spacious and lovely. It was such a great price for somewhere that was relatively close to the city. Staff were great, as were the overall presentation of the apartments.
I liked the location for public transport into central Sydney. It was very clean and easy to access of the freeway. There was plenty of parking spaces available. The equipment in the kitchenette was the best I have ever experienced.
Cost as we weren't spending much time there. Close to city fir function attending but also close to airport. Spacious and clean and smart. Have stated with meriton before but not at zetland. It was as we r pecked which was great value.
The apartment was very well furnished and set up with everything one could need, and was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and very helpful - my partner has MS and they helped us with our baggage and her wheelchair.
The size of the studio apartment was great. Fittings were good quality.

One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Wonderful modern, spacious, spotlessly clean 1 bedroom apartment with all the amenities you could ever want. If only the airconditioning was working it would have been perfect.
The apartment was two bedroom and big enough for our family. Everything was clean and like new. Could park in the street relatively easily each day so saved using paid parking. The whole family enjoyed the accommodation very much.
I thought the apartments were beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need.
I would stay again, but only if I could have an apartment on the inside of the complex or in the low rise by the road not the motorway.
Very well designed rooms - I liked the policy of no loud/excessive noise or parties in rooms. (good policy) Spacious, very clean and modern and plenty of room to move around in comfort. Staff were friendly but professional.
Room was extremely clean and offered everything we needed. Parking was available close to a lift which was close to our room. Booking in and out was very quick and the staff were extremely helpful re where to go to eat.
Good kitchen and laundry facilities. Beds were comfortable and very good to have 2 bathrooms. We only stayed one night and were out most of the time so did not use the lounge area or cooking facilities. Would use again.
large apt, location was a 10 minute walk to the Green Square station and only one stop from Central. It will become a great community once all the construction in the area is completed and more retail space is filled.
Conveniently located between Sydney and the airport. Very clean and modern and tastefully decorated. Extremely large rooms and worth the stay. A lot more affordable and comfortable than our previous stay in Sydney.

wish to have. Location was good because the hotel is in walking distance
to bus stops and a train station to take you anywhere in the city.

Beautiful apartment with so many things a backpacker had been missing, like a washing machine & hairdryer! Great facilities, with the pool,spa & gym just downstairs and they were never busy. Great stay.
The apartments are excellent, spacious, modern, and clean. Wish I could call it my own! This was my second stay, such great value for money. Not in the city but close enough for quiet and easy access there.
I didn't have a toaster there when I got there however it was quickly brought to my rooms once I rang reception so it wasn't really a problem.
I must say though that the room needed a clothes horse for hanging washing that could not go in the dryer.
The third bedroom needs lamps for reading at night as it does not have the bed lights like the first two rooms and this was an inconvenience for those wanting to read.

Had a room on the busy road side. double glazed doors & windows were effective at controlling the noise but it meant we couldn't open a window. Would specifically book a room on the other side of the building next time.

We would have preferred a choice of feather pillows for a slightly less elevated sleep. Also, after having come back from the quiet of the countryside we were acutely aware of the traffic outside in the morning but I think it was only because of the contrast. If you're looking for a city spot to stay, this is it!.
All was great except for location, because of the awful stormy weather it was problematic to get from Zetland to CBD via public transport.
There was a minor fault with the bath/shower control BUT this was very promptly looked at personally by the reception staff and was rectified promptly too.
Only stayed one night, no problems to report.
Everything was fine, apart from very minor things (ie on one day the washing liquod was not replaced, however this is a very small set back for what was an excellent time staying at the apartment).
It's a bit far from the train station, restaurants and supermarket. Also since it is nearby the highway, I can hear the sounds of the vehicles. But it's okay, those are tolerable. We love to walk around the vicinity which is generally peaceful. At night, we can still sleep comfortably.
No negatives.
Only gripe is not enough shops close by to look at, as well as location to the city. The complex should consider an internet lounge for those guests who don't carry laptops. Some staff lacked smiles and good old genuine friendliness.
Nothing, the location is a little bit far away, but really, it's only a 15 minute walk to the train station and about 5 minutes to the bus stop and it is in a quite pleasant area so we didn't feel unsafe walking around.
Still a lot of apartment construction going on around this site, but will be a wonderful complex when these are finished and landscaping and other amenities are completed.
We were surprised at being allocated a two-level two-bedroom apartment when this was not even listed as a possibility on the website when we booked.
The washing machine had to be replaced as it was not working as it should. There was some annoying but bearable noise from the nearby construction sites.

I would seriously rate it almost 9.999 out of 10 if I can. The design of the entrance to the basement car park is quite silly as it's such a step slop, but I reckon it's not the hotel who should be blamed.
Due to its location next to the freeway it can be quite noisy when using
the balcony. Getting out of Zetland by public transport is sort of
limited, but that's reflected in the price :).
Maybe the location, but there's a bus stop of 343, 301, M20 etc. nearby (10min walk) which enables access to city center.
The daily parking rate is a bit steep but we were lucky enough to have found off street parking the 3N we were there. Not sure if parking is going to be easy to find on weekends though.
We were there for only the one night. We had to leave. We can't get back soon enough.
It is in the middle of a new high rise build area with very few amenities. If you want to self cater, make sure you arrive with what you need.
The distance was really far from the city and it was surrounded by construction sites.
Expensive taxi fares to/from airport.
Our shower leaked water through the whole bathroom, making it quite frustrating. However when brought to the staffs attention, they immediately acted on it, although because the issue was a design flaw, it couldn't really be resolved until after we left.
If I was staying a bit longer, it might be difficult to cook much in the kitchen and have enough room for supplies.
Cannot complain but only thing was waiting ages gir a taxi.
Car park was expensive, but we took advantage of the free parking in the street (we have a Disabled Parking permit).
Close to the highway but double glass kept out noise. A $20 taxi ride to
city. Not real close to public transport.
The traffic noise. I couldn't understand why you would have the bedroom right next to the motorway. The study was quieter and I had to resort to pulling my bedding in there to get some sleep on the floor.

The reading lights were removed from the bedroom and were not fixed during our stay.
Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay.
The pool water was cold. The hot tub was only lukewarm and the sauna did
not get hot enough.
No major dislikes. I drive everywhere, but might find it difficult to have to use public transport from there if I didn't drive. Building sites very close but did not have any problems with that.
Just be aware, location was good but meant a 15-20 min bus ride into centre.
