  Nært til alle ting. - The fact that it was an old wool store business converted and the facade was left in tact. I loved the big old black doors and the floor mosaic telling us what the building had been used for in the past. Has any history of the building been kept to view while staying at the Oaks Goldsborough, Darling Harbour?? I liked that the staff fixed the curtain rod which had come out fr - Loved this place :) I had read the reviews after I had made my booking. I probably would never had booked after reading shoddy reviews. Well, was I pleasantly suprised! I stayed with my 15 year old daughter, and were on the 12th floor. This place ticks all the boxes. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hair drier wasn't working in my room - house keeping replaced it straight away. The hotel had been recommended to us & it surpassed all expectations. - The hotel design is unique, the situation to shops, retaurants, Darling Harbour, OperaHouse,buses, trains etc. is convenient. The bed was fairly firm, certainly better than 99% of other hotels.The concierges were extremely helpful too.When the sign to service the room is placed on the door, one's room is cleaned etc almost immediately!   When we requested a different room, the receptionist handled it in a friendly, efficient manner. Very impressed in general with the staff. Although young, they displayed confidence and a thorough knowledge of their roles. Spa options were very good. - Rooms were clean and comfortable, location was great and spa and pool area were great!

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we needed somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight in the morning. On our our arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member, I think her name was Sarah who assisted us with all of our needs. If you are looking for somewhere to eat o - Having heard some negative reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find it particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room quiet, comfortable, and relaxing after a long flight. Both the evening bar meal and the buffet breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider using this hotel again, when travelling through, or to, Sydney.

I will definitely stay there the next time I have to return to Sydney.
